David Landau, Chairman

Originally a doctor, David Landau co-founded LOOT (London's free ads paper) in 1985. Over the course of the next 15 years, David presided over the company's success and growth into one of largest companies of its kind in the world. He served as Joint Managing Director of the company from 1985-1995 and as Chairman from 1995 to 2000. In July 2000, Loot was sold to the directory company Scoot.com. David has served as the chairman for the National Gallery Company, and is a trustee for the Courtauld Institute and the National Art Collections Fund (as well as several other charities) and is a Supernumerary Fellow of Worcester College, Oxford. He is the founder and editor of Print Quarterly, a scholarly journal devoted to the history of printmaking, and has published several books in art history. He currently serves as a Director of Getty Images (NYSE: GYI). David is Saffron Hill's Chairman and is a member of the Investment Committee.
