Since joining Image Metrics in 2001, David Barton has delivered many video game and feature film projects for clients such as Rockstar Games, Sony Computer Entertainment and Digital Domain.
In January 2006 he opened Image Metrics Inc. in Santa Monica, CA and is now responsible for all Production based in the US. He is the leading expert in the application of Image Metrics' proprietary animation solutions in the entertainment industries. Before joining Image Metrics he completed a BSc in Physics at Leeds University and a two year Graduate Management program with a FTSE 100 company.
Michael Jones (B.Sc. M.Sc.) is a production supervisor with an extensive track record of successful projects in video game animation. He is the leading innovator in the field of automated production and quality control methodologies.
Douglas Tate (B.Sc) specializes in animation production and the development of production support systems. He has supervised the successful delivery of animation across a wide range of video games, film and television productions.
Dr. Caulkin (B. Sc PhD) is an image analysis and animation expert. He has supervised the development of many innovative technologies and their deployment in cutting-edge productions. Dr. Caulkin lead the development of Image Metrics' photo-real animation systems deployed in feature films, television and video games.
Dr. Dorning (B.Sc. PhD) is an expert in real-time and off-line animation systems. He oversees the integration of Image Metrics' technology with the leading third-party animation systems. Dr. Dorning has created animation production systems for numerous video game and television productions.
Dr. Rogers (B.Sc. M.Sc. PhD) is an experienced computer vision expert. He has an extensive background in applied and theoretical image analysis in both animation and medical domains, with a proven academic publishing record. He has worked alongside major companies such as Astra-Zeneca Pharmaceuticals and academic institutions such as The University of Manchester and UAB. Dr. Rogers has developed many algorithms and tools to aid animation and character creation.
Dr. Walker is an experienced computer scientist and software engineer with an extensive background in computer vision and its application to both animation and medical domains. His work is internationally recognized and was awarded the National Computing Prize. Dr. Walker has developed many technologies and applications used for the automatic creation and animation of digital characters.
