Image Metrics is expanding the R&D team responsible for performance-driven animation technology. Our software creates stunning animation for the world’s top-rated video games and movies such as Grand Theft Auto IV and Harry Potter. Software Developers
Image Metrics is expanding its development team and is looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated C++ programmers with a passion for writing great code.
The position will require the following:
- Strong C++ experience within a commercial environment
- Relevant degree in a scientific subject
Additional skills in some of the following areas are desirable:
- Experience of creating C++ plug-ins for Maya and Studio Max
- Writing plug-ins for Adobe AfterEffects
- Xbox 360 / PS3 coding experience
- Strong mathematical knowledge
- Flex / Ajax or other web development systems
QA Engineers
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and executing QA processes for Image Metrics products; this will involve working as a part of our development team to ensure our products continue to meet the highest standards.
For this position we are looking for candidates with the following:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a QA Engineer
- Solid understanding of leading edge QA methodologies and automated testing methods
- Extensive experience in writing test requirements, plans, documentation and scripts
Computer Vision Scientists
Image Metrics is looking for experienced Computer Vision Scientists who have a passion for this exciting field and a desire to apply it to both facial animation technology and novel applications.
A successful candidate will have at least the following:
- Masters or Doctorate in Computer Vision or a related subject such as Statistics or Image Processing
Additional experience in the following would be an advantage:
- Object Tracking
- Commercial experience of software development
- 3D Modeling
- Texture analysis
- Stereo vision
- Camera Calibration
- Non-linear data modeling
- Matlab
- C++
Technical Writers
Image Metrics is looking for experienced highly motivated technical writers to develop and maintain our product documentation and user-training materials.
All candidates will require the following:
- 2+ years experience of technical writing
- Experience of producing user guides and tutorials for software technology products
- Ability to understand complex, technical software
Additional experience in the following is desirable:
- Experience of creating online content
- Experience with animation and media software such Maya, Studio Max and Adobe After effects.
