Entire performances are animated at a click of a button based on the poses the artist has previously defined in the toolset. Iterations can be achieved in near real-time by simply adding, adjusting, or finessing poses to influence animation results. A shared pose database ensures teams maintain consistency and achieve the "one animator" look by leveraging the same artistic poses, created with the same controls/attributes per character on subsequent performances.
Analyzed performances are not tied to a character and can be retargeted onto as many character rigs as needed within the FACEWARE toolset—an economical cost model for the demands of today's animation budgets.
FACEWARE can apply keys on every frame, and also includes powerful options to refine the resulting animation. This allows artists to create results mimicking hand-keyed curves via intelligent key reduction and alignment tools, easily enabling them to later adjust the performance should they desire.
